"Zadra" is a talented girl from a housing estate who fights for recognition on the rap scene. Although she seems to be an ordinary teenager, in front of the microphone she gains incredible energy and charisma, thanks to which she can captivate crowds.

The school year begins at the European Social Secondary School. It will be special because the Nobel Prize winner, Olga Tokarczuk, is to come. It will be special, because high school student Adam and his friend from the Internet have a special plan for online broadcasting.

Warsaw, 1968. Students protesting against the illegal expulsion of their colleagues from university and in defence of play Dziady, directed by Kazimierz Dejmek and performed at the National Theatre, which has been taken off the bill. Among the protesting young people are also Hania and Janek. Their families are on both sides of the March barricade. Young and madly in love with each other, like in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet in a country in revolt, they fight for their affection. Will their love survive? Will they be able to overcome the adversities that fate throws at them?

A Security Service Major wishes to "buy" gullible priest Zieja and turn him into an agent who will discredit the opposition. The priest's interrogations become a natural pretext for a journey through the history of Poland in the twentieth century: from the Bolshevik war of 1920, through World War II, up to modern times. It turns out that the seemingly naive Father Zieja is actually a clever rebel.
