Tai-shian is locked away in his own autistic universe, totally lost to the world. His parents spend every day looking after him, rendering Tai-shian’s little sister Debby completely invisible to her parents…until one day, when both parents are gone, and Debby finds a new task thrust upon her.

An elementary school in the mountains is to be abolished due to the decreasing population. The PE teacher is assigned to form a choir and to win the national choir contest to solve the crisis. With limited resource and absolutely no music background, the PE teacher and a group of tone-deaf students start to prepare for the contest. The choir and their community eventually find their own voice and identity.

동성 파트너 리웨이가 세상을 떠난 후, 린은 5년간 리웨이의 아들 요유와 어머니를 돌보며 가족처럼 함께 살았다. 리웨이의 어머니가 세상을 떠난 후, 재산은 린이 입양한 아들 요유에게 상속된다. 평소 어머니를 잘 찾지 않았던 리웨이의 동생 리강이 어머니를 살해한 혐의로 린을 경찰에 고발한다. 조사가 계속될수록 린이 지키고자 했던 것들이 부정되고 무너져 간다.
