[킬, 베이비... 킬!]은 바니타스를 주제로 한 정물화처럼 그로테스크한 형태로 보는 이를 압도한다. 한 여인이 알 수 없는 힘에 이끌려 뾰족한 창살을 향해 몸을 던지는 도입부부터가 예사롭지 않다. 의문의 사건이 터지면서 에스위 박사가 마을로 파견되고 수사를 위해 시체를 부검하려 든다. 하지만 마을 주민들은 저주를 받을 것이라며 부검을 반대하고 그 와중에 또 다른 희생자가 생겨난다. 여러 경로를 통해 수사망을 좁혀나가던 박사는 이 모든 사건이 그랍스 가문에서 시작됐음을 알게 된다. 은 고딕풍의 '귀신들린 집'을 콘셉트로 내세우지만 미스터리한 금발 소녀(실제로는 '소년'이 가발을 쓰고 연기했다.)의 존재는 좀 더 기괴하고 독특한 분위기를 창조한다. 이에 경탄한 스탠리 큐브릭과 마틴 스콜세지는 각각 (1980)과 (1988)에서 그들 나름의 창조적인 방식으로 금발 소녀를 등장시켜 에 오마주를 바쳤다.

It's May 1943, and two Italian American soldiers, Joe and Frank, are searching the North African desert for a Nazi general called Von Kassler. Von Kassler's aide captures them, and arranges for them to escape with fake war plans. But, things don't go exactly as planned for either side.
