TWO OR THREE THINGS I KNOW ABOUT EDWARD HOPPER is an immersive experience in 3D, that takes its viewers on a journey into the world of Hopper, sharpening their senses for some aspects of his unique work.

베를린 하늘의 천사, 다니엘은 어느 날 공중 곡예를 하는 마리온을 보고 반한다. 그저 바라보기만 할 수 있는 천사로서는 사랑에 빠진 여자를 만질 수 없음이 그저 고통스럽기만 하다. 그러던 어느날, 천사였다가 인간이 된 콜롬보를 만난다. 그 후, 다니엘은 천사직을 포기하고 인간이 되어 마리온과 만질 수 있는 사랑에 빠진다. 인간이 되어 마리온과 접촉할 수 있는 사랑을 하게 되나, 인간으로서 살아가는 문제와도 봉착하게 된다.

빔 벤더스는 1982년 16밀리 카메라를 들고 동경에 간다. 그는 가장 존경하는 감독인 오즈 야스지로의 클립들을 30년이 지난 동경의 혼잡한 거리와 결합시킴으로써 실제 세계와 영화적 공간이 교차하는 곳을 발견하려고 한다. 그는 건물 옥상의 골프연습장, 긴자 거리의 네온사인, 공동묘지에서의 야구게임, 왁스 푸드 등, 현재의 동경에서 관측되는 모습들을 통해 일본문화에 대해 생각해보기도 하고 류 치슈, 아츠타 유하루등 오즈의 영화에 참여했던 사람들을 만나서 오즈의 작업방식에 대해 질문하는가 하면 심지어는 비슷한 시기에 동경에 와있던 영화감독 크리스 마르케르, 베르너 헤어조크를 우연히 만나기도 한다. 그 과정을 통해 그는 오즈가 보여주는 ‘동경’은 이미 존재하지 않는 것을 절감하게 된다.
