Based on a story by Stefano Sardo, The Perfect Dinner follows Carmine (Salvatore Esposito, Gomorrah series), a Neapolitan mafioso who isn’t cut out for the criminal life. Under the protection of his boss Pasquale (Gianfranco Gallo), Carmine is sent north to run a money laundering operation through a restaurant. He simply needs to defrost frozen meals, issue receipts and dinner is served. But everything changes when he meets Consuelo (Greta Scarano), a chef who always pursues perfection and dreams of winning a Michelin star. Carmine hires her and decides to transform the establishment into a high-end restaurant. Could the love for food and dream of winning a Michelin star give them both a second chance?

Greta is forced to accompany her newly separated mother to a party. For the first time, she will see her as a lonely woman, rather than just a mother.

Checco is a young Apulian entrepreneur dreamer who has opened a sushi restaurant in his Apulia. However, after one month, the restaurant went bankrupt and he chose to emigrate to Africa to escape from debt. Here he adapts to being a waiter in a resort in Kenya, but at the outbreak of a civil war he decides to embark on a stowaway trip on a boat for migrants to Europe and chooses to do it with his African friends. However, he would not like to return to Italy, but rather to go to Liechtenstein where banking secrecy is in force and there is a lower tax burden than in Italy.

Two lovers are stuck in stale relationships due to lean finances. But when one is duped into thinking he's suddenly rich, he takes very drastic action.

Trouble begins when Luca becomes obsessed with Valeria, the beauty who works in the next building. He begins spying on her, and then secretly filming her with his camcorder. He tries to get to know her, but she ignores him. Unable to stand her constant refusal, the frustrated young man accosts her on dark street and rapes her. The first rape was almost accidental; he encountered her on the street and he hurt her. Unfortunately, he liked the violence and begins raping every attractive woman he sees. He is particularly violent with Lorena, a jewelry saleswoman whom he beats up in a park before violating her.

Marco is a judge investigating a case of arms trafficking, one of the judges to fight against corruption of Italian political life. Carla, his wife, lives dominated by the fear that her husband will be murdered and, unfortunately, her fears are realized. She decides to join a group of widows of judges to break the silence that has always protected the crimes of the Mafia, who always act in collusion with influential public figures. With the help of the group and the notes and documents of her husband, Carla produces a television documentary that endangers the lives of many people.

자신만의 원칙을 철저히 지키려 노력하며 사는 홀아비 마테오 스크로(마르첼로 마스트로이안니 분)는 퇴직을 하고 연금을 받으며 시칠리아 섬에 있는 카스텔베트라노에 살고 있다. 그는 언제나 죽은 아내 안젤라와 오래 전부터 이탈리아 전역에 흩어져 살고 있는 다섯 명의 자식들을 그리워한다. 그러나 휴가철이 되어도 자식들이 고향인 시칠리아에 오지 않자 자신이 직접 그들을 만나러 가기로 결심한다. 하지만 여행을 하면서 실망과 회한만 느끼게 된다. 그가 처음으로 간 곳은 아들 알바로가 가 있는 나폴리이다. 마테오는 아들이 차기 국회의원 정도의 위치에 있는 줄 알았으나, 실제로는 어느 국회의원 밑에서 자료나 수집해 주는 일을 하고 있다. 다음에는 피렌체로 가서 예쁜 용모를 가진 딸 토스카를 만난다. 마테오의 생각으로는 딸이 유명한 배우가 되어 있어야 하는데, 실제로는 속옷 광고의 사진 모델을 하고 있고, 게다가 아비 없는 자식까지 기르고 있다. 그리고 밀라노에서는 교향악단에서 베이스 드럼을 연주하며 음악가로서의 길을 걷고 있지만, 자신의 직업에 만족하지 못하는 아들 굴리엘모를 만난다. 마지막으로 토리노에서는 전화국의 중역이 된 줄로 알고 있었던 노르마를 만나지만, 노르마 역시 전보를 치는 일을 하는 일개 직원일 뿐이고 결혼 생활도 파탄 지경에 이르러 있다. 자식들 모두 고향에서 외로운 홀로 생활을 하고 있는 노부에게 심려를 끼치지 않기 위해 잘 지낸다고, 일도 가정도 모두 평탄하다고 속여왔고, 자식들의 말을 곧이곧대로 믿은 마테오는 자식들이 그렇게 힘들게 살고 있는 줄은 꿈에도 몰랐던 것이다. 쓰라린 마음을 안고 고향인 시칠리아로 돌아 온 마테오는 그토록 사랑했던 아내의 무덤에 찾아가 낮은 목소리로 이야기 한다. “모두 잘 지내고 있다오.”

어린 시절 영화가 세상의 전부였던 소년 토토는 학교 수업을 마치면 마을 광장에 있는 낡은 시네마 천국이라는 극장으로 달려가 영사 기사 알프레도와 친구로 지내며 어깨너머로 영사기술을 배운다. 어느 날 관객들을 위해 광장에서 야외 상영을 해주던 알프레도가 그만 화재 사고로 실명하게 되고, 토토가 그의 뒤를 이어 시네마 천국의 영상기사로 일하게 된다. 실명한 후에도 토토의 친구이자 아버지로 든든한 정신적 지주가 되어준 알프레도는 청년이 된 토토가 사랑하는 여자 엘레나의 부모님의 반대로 좌절하자 넓은 세상으로 나가서 더 많은 것을 배우라며 권유하는데...
