Due to "The Shift" 50% of the worlds population has turned into rage humans, entire cities have vanished and the weather across the globe is chaotic. Inside this chaos, the survivors attempt to unravel answers to this convoluted mystery.

An Iraq War veteran suffering from PTSD and Psychosis returns home. He tries to reconstitute his lost family by kidnapping children who he thinks are his own. The teen (Jennifer) whom he kidnapped came from a dysfunctional family. Her mother sold her virginity on the internet to Mr. Miller, a wealthy man. Police suspect foul play in her disappearance and suspect her parents. Jennifer attempted a coat hanger abortion at Kidnapper's house and had a near death experience. The child Mia whom he kidnapped kept pining for her mother until she catch pneumonia in the cold house without any utilities. She was taken to hospital but was kidnapped by someone else. Kidnapper is hounded by memories of a singing blind girl whom he killed for fun in Afghanistan.

홀리데이가 다시 돌아왔다. 크리스마스 트리가 우연한 사고로 인해 다 타버리게 되면서 사이가 멀어졌던 해롤드와 쿠마가 다시 뭉치게 된다. 해롤드는 무서운 장인어른께 진실을 말하기보다는 대신할 크리스마스 트리를 찾아 쿠마와 함께 홀리데이 어드벤처로 빠져들 것을 선택한다. 그들은 도중에 노래, 댄스, 진정한 크리스마스의 정신을 알게 되고, 죽음에서 살아 돌아온 신화적 존재(닐 패트릭 해리슨)를 만나게 된다.
