재크(오웬 캠벨)와 조쉬(찰리 타핸)는 절친이지만, 학교에서 그들의 존재감은 매우 낮다. 그러던 어느 날 조쉬의 집에 대릴(Max Talisman)이 찾아오면서 일은 벌어진다. 해병대에 간 형의 방에 들어선 녀석들, 때마침 형이 숨겨 놓은 마약을 발견하게 되고 조쉬와 대릴의 실랑이가 벌어진다. 그러다 형의 칼로 대릴을 죽이고 마는 조쉬. 순식간에 분위기는 냉랭해지고, 급한 대로 대릴을 숲 속에 버려둔 채 아이들은 헤어지게 된다.
