짝퉁과 싸구려에 열광하는 시모츠마 주민들에게, 치렁치렁한 드레스를 입고 다니는 모모코는 별나도 한참 별난 소녀다. 하지만, 무슨 상관! 친구도, 애인도, 가족도, 다 필요 없다! 를 외치는 그녀에게 중요한 건, 오직 드레스뿐이다. 드레스만 입을 수 있다면, 모모코의 인생은 달콤하고 우아한 행복 찾기의 연속이다. 하지만, 각종 거짓말과 조작으로 드레스 구입 비용을 충당하던 모모코에게 위기가 닥친다. 짝퉁 명품을 팔아오던 유일한 물주인 아빠가 실직(?)하게 된 것. 이제 직접 자금을 조달해야만 하는 모모코는 집안의 유일한 재산인 짝퉁 베르사치의 판매책으로 나선다. 광고를 보고 첫 번째 손님이 방문한다. 그런데 이게 왠일! 프로급 침뱉기, 난데없는 박치기, 특공복 패션이라니! 게다가 스쿠터 폭주족인 그녀가 친구하자고 덤빈다! 우아함이 신조인 모모코에게 그녀는 영 달갑지 않는 불청객이다. 게다가 이치코는 폭주족 보스에게 고마움을 표시하기 위해 특공복에 자수를 놓겠다며, 자수의 달인을 찾겠다는 엉뚱한 결심을 한다. 얼떨결에 한패가 된 모모코와 이치코는 자금 마련차 빠찡코에 들르고, 이치코는 첫사랑에 빠져버린다. 드레스에 목숨 거는 모모코! 과연 그녀의 드레스는 끝까지 우아~하게 남아있을 수 있을까...

영세한 여자 프로레슬링 단체인 ‘가린페이로’의 창설자인 여사장 아이언 이이지마가 세상을 떠난다. 남겨진 선수들은 사장의 유언에 따라 어려서 이별한 그녀의 아들인 신이치를 찾아내고, 강제적으로 사장에 취임시킨다. 이 가린페이로에 직장 상사로부터 늘 성추행을 당하던 키리시마와 식당에서 서빙을 하던 가라데 소유자 나카지마까지 입단하며 데뷔전을 준비한다. 조금씩 관객의 인기를 얻어 가던중, 영업 담당 야마우치가 회사 돈을 가지고 도주, 경영이 어려워진 신이치는 ‘J링’ 단체의 사장 토요시마의 제안에 따라 해산 및 병합이라는 연출에 의한 경기를 하기로 한다. 그러나 나카지마/키리시마 팀은 이 시나리오를 깨고 상대팀 코바타/타지마 팀을 이겨버린다. 이에 격노한 토요시마는 다시 단체의 해산과 신이치의 업계 추방을 걸고 진정한 승부를 내자고 한다. 결국 나카지마/키리시마 팀은 코바타/타지마 팀에게 지지만 관객들이 그들의 경기를 강하게 요구하여 다음 결전을 준비하게 된다.

When Bussan learns he has less than a year to live, he decides to continue his life as usual. He spends his time with his friends, a band called Kisarazu Cat's Eye. Their funny adventures range from playing gigs to solving a mystery surrounding counterfeit money, but Bussan's impending death is never far away.

Guitarist Ko-chanis a mess of sexual repression after a childhood at the mercy of two elder sisters eager to use him as a guinea pig for their make-up skills. Bassist Gaku-chan keeps a bucket in the wings for whenever his nerves get the better of him, and drummer Momo-chan is doomed to forever carrying the botched childhood attempts at self-tattooing. It's not until this foursome is forced to look for an additional guitar player after Jin's dad burns his Stratocaster, that attitude and musical ability enter into the equation. Leather-clad, shade-wearing Tani (Tamaki), inseparable from his black Les Paul, is introduced as the king of R'n'R cool and Jinnai keeps him firmly seated on his throne throughout the film, retroactively proclaiming the guitarist, rather than himself, as the band's true hero.

자신의 안에 자신도 어쩔 수 없는 자신이 있다. 재일한국인, 히데노리. 가족들과도 몇 년째 얼굴을 마주한 적이 없고, 이지메를 당할 뿐인 학교에는 나갈 생각도 없이 거리를 어슬렁거린다. 그는 언제나, 무슨 일이 있거나 히죽히죽 웃는다. 도둑질을 하다가 들켜도 웃고, 칼에 손이 베어 피를 뚝뚝 흘리면서도 아프다며 웃는다. 심지어는 자살한 누나의 시체 앞에서도 "나도 죽을까?"라며 웃는다. 강박성 정신장애로 도벽이 있는 소녀 유미와 시부야를 어슬렁어슬렁 거리고 있는 타로. 묘한 우연으로 유미와 타로는 히데노리의 무모한 계획에 가담하게 된다. 그의 계획이란 자살한 누나 나나코에게 한번이라도 좋으니까 조국인 한국을 보여주고 싶어 누나의 시체와 함께 한국으로의 밀항을 도모하는 것. 세상의 눈밖에 나버린 이들 세 사람과 시체 한 구는, 하얀 자동차를 타고 하카타를 향해 달리기 시작한다.

Seven characters, introduced at the start of the film, get thrown together into the same hotel room: a thief who's stolen a suitcase of money from the mob, his ex-girlfriend, her obsessive boyfriend, the mob soldier sent to retrieve the briefcase, another mobster sent to kill them, master voyeur Captain Banana and his new apprentice, The Mister Yellow. Who will end up with the money?

Looking for something to do during the summer, Akihiko Suzuki teams up with four girls (Namie, Natsumi, Mishiyo, and Komugi) and a guy (Kosuke) to start a little cafe down by the beach. Actually, he is more interested in the girls than the job. They used to ignore him, but by working at the cafe, he hopes to start a friendship with them.

"Atlanta Boogie" centers around a mock track meet between the "normal" and "good" citizens of Yokohama and those they want to expel from the neighborhood: the illegal foreign workers, the deadbeats, the juvenile delinquents, and elderly.

Rika Aoshima is the eldest daughter of an ordinary Japanese family in the mid-twentieth century. Though Rika is regarded by others as intelligent, athletic, and beautiful, her mother Yuriko believes that her daughter is an iguana; she frequently belittles Rika, and openly favors her youngest daughter Mami. Rika has internalized her mother's rejection and perceives herself as an iguana, and comes to believe that her true parents are iguanas in the Galápagos Islands.

A coming-of-age story. Shuji, a Japanese teen, is falling in love with his friend Hiroyuki, however, Hiroyuki is attracted to Kasane, the new girl in their class.
