CG 담당이 오모토 타츠키이다. 제작 당시만 해도 이들이 그렇게 유명하지 않았기 때문에 별로 주목을 못 받았으나 대단한 스태프가 만든 작품이며 상당한 액션과 작화를 보여주는 작품이다. 장갑기병 보톰즈 Case;IRVINE에 이어 보톰즈 페스티발의 두번째 단편작으로 어빈의 경우 일단 세계관만은 본편과 같은데 반해 보톰즈 파인더는 아예 세계관 자체가 보톰즈와 연관이 없어 보이는 페러렐 월드를 무대로 하고 있다. 우선 스코프 독이 등장하지 않고 흰개미라 불리는 거대 크리쳐가 몬스터 헌터를 연상케 한다. 주역메카는 알트로지만 알트로는 스코프독같은 개별 기종의 명칭이 아니라 AT를 통칭하는 명사로 쓰인다. 화기는 미사일과 유탄포뿐이고 체인, 와이어의 액션이 두드러진다. 줄거리는 깊고 거대한 협곡 밑에 고물상 노릇을 하며 살아가는 '보톰즈'와 그 협곡 위의 도시에서 사는 '톱'으로 계층이 분리돼있는 세계에서 흰개미를 상대로 싸우는 경비병으로 살고 있는 보톰즈 아키 테스노가 톱에서 찾아온 사람들의 안내 의뢰를 받아들이며 생기는 사건을 다루고 있다.

This movie is an alternative version of the TV series; it is composed of the two 2007 OVAs, edited to improve the pacing of the plot, and an extra segment akin to a TV episode where the cast are given the task of studying flowers. The plot has several differences to the TV series, most important being Sirius's death at the beginning, Apollo's different childhood and the more marked focus on the events of 12000 years ago, particularly Apollonius' death and Reika's previous incarnation's involvement.

Based on the popular video game series, this futuristic anime feature follows the plight of the Earth Federation, the last group of human beings on the planet, who are forced to defend themselves from elimination at the hands of an alien invasion. Three years have passed after the decisive battle at the end of Yamato Takeru and peace has return to the land. Takeru, Oto and their friends return to the village and continue living their days in bliss until one night Shuranoo, piloted by Mikazuchi, marks a return and appears in the village to wreak havoc. Takeru is left without any choice and is forced to reactivate the sealed Susanoo from his slumber. However, this is just the beginning of a new threat, and Takeru has to overcome himself if he wants to rescue Oto from the impending danger.

As he nears the New World, Christopher Columbus tells cabin boy Paco about his youthful hardships, the difficulties of convincing others of his vision, and the final victory when King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella agreed to sponsor his trip. The sailors are doubtful, though Columbus is vindicated when they arrive on land, but it's not as the planned destination of Japan.
