Sinopse
Harris K. Telemacher (Steve Martin) é o "homem do tempo" em uma rede de televisão. Ele transforma suas previsões em algo um pouco cômico, pois em Los Angeles há muito pouco para se falar sobre o tempo. Harris passa seu tempo em museus e em lugares da moda sendo que num deste lugares conhece Sara McDowel (Victoria Tennant). Entretanto Harris está, sendo assediado por SanDeE* (Sarah Jessica Parker), uma bem vendedora de roupas. Como o tempo nunca mudava, Harris disse que haveria sol em toda a Califórnia, mas caiu um temporal que destruiu o iate do chefe de Harris e foi demitido. Simultaneamente Harris descobre que sua namorada tinha um caso com o seu agente, Frank Swan (Kevin Pollak). Isto o afeta pois está realmente interessado em Sara.
