Max, o filme que conta a história de um cachorro que ajudou pessoas no Afeganistão vai ganhar uma continuação, desta vez é dirigido por Brian Levant (Beethoven - O Magnífico) a partir de um roteiro escrito por Steven Altiere (Norm e os Invencíveis). O segundo filme vai se passar na Casa Branca.

Michael Dooley é um policial extravagante que necessita de alguma ajuda para lutar contra Lyman, um traficante de drogas que tem tentado matá-lo. Um conhecido lhe dá Jerry Lee, um pastor alemão que foi treinado para cheirar drogas. Com sua ajuda Dooley espera colocar seu inimigo atrás das grades, mas Jerry Lee tem uma personalidade bem própria e trabalha apenas quando quer. Por sua vez, o cachorro é ótimo para destruir o carro, a casa e a vida sexual de Dooley. Além disto, Tracy, a namorada de Michael Dooley, é seqüestrada por Lyman, que assim pretende deter Dooley, pois Lyman está prestes a entregar um carregamento de drogas que vale alguns milhões de dólares.

O detetive Michael Dooley e seu pastor alemão, Jerry Lee, trabalham juntos há dez anos. Envelhecido, o cachorro já não tem mais a agilidade e o fôlego de antes, tendo dificuldades para exercer suas funções policiais. Então, eles recebem o apoio de uma nova dupla: a policial Welles e seu dobermann Zeus. O primeiro contato não é nada bom e os novos parceiros se estranham, mas logo partem para a ação. Juntos, Dooley, Welles e seus respectivos cães tentam rastrear um psicopata.

Jake Wilder é um policial não muito apreciado em sua divisão que recebe como parceiro, contra a vontade, um cachorro muito esperto, única testemunha do assassinato violento do seu proprietário - um velho detetive que investigava um grupo de supremacistas brancos. While working in Europe, Avram comes to realize that Italians are paying good money for trained dogs that can protect them from the waves of immigrants. That's Avram's big-time idea: he returns to Romania to start breeding watch dogs which he can later export to Italy. As it happens, he settles next to a camp of immigrants recently sent back from Rome. Thus, the Italian tension is willy-nilly reenacted on the banks of the Danube. Avram's life gets complicated. He starts having an affair with his own daughter in law, lands in conflict with his ex-immigrant neighbors and his life is literally under threat. The film ends with an unpredictable situation.
