Fiel, Mas Nem Tanto (1996)

A Vietnam war veteran writes a series of articles about his war experiences for a local newspaper. As he does so, another veteran, drawn by the articles, begins randomly appearing in his life.

O filme é composto por curtas-metragens dirigidos por onze estudantes da Universidade de Nova York, e é baseado no livro de poemas de C.K. Williams, ganhador do prêmio Pulitzer. Na trama, o poeta tem sua trajetória contada ao longo de 40 anos, onde revive memórias que servem de inspiração para seus textos.

Russell Gates (David Strahairn) is a Vietnam vet on death row for killing a policeman. His childhood sweetheart, Pam O'Brien (Sissy Spacek), is stunned to learn this and does not believe he could commit such a crime.
