Grapes 2 (2009)

Começando em outubro de 1942, o filme acompanha vários meses na vida de alguns combatentes congregados em torno de Phillipe Gerbier, um sossegado engenheiro civil que, na realidade, é um dos maiores líderes da Resistência.

Oficial militar (Dolph Lundgren) é enviado pela CIA com a missão de perseguir e capturar uma suspeita de ter assassinado o embaixador cubano em Nova York antes que ela volte a atacar a embaixada cubana/americana em Praga. Porém, ao capturar e se apaixonar pela bela assassina (Maruschka Detmers), que é dona de um clube de lésbicas, e passando a acreditar em sua inocência, ele acaba se envolvendo em uma perigosa e mortal rede de intrigas. Eles partem à procura do verdadeiro assassino e juntam suas forças para vencer os poderes obscuros que conspiram para mais um crime na embaixada.

Uma jovem menina Inglesa, com aspirações de se tornar uma encanadora, vem ajudar um jovem cuja pia fica entupida enquanto ele está dando uma festa. Ela conhece um escritor checo, e lhe são dados vários cocktails. Quando seu tio, o encanador, chega, ele fica horrorizado, e dá um jeito para ela ir num serviço em uma casa rica. Lá, ela conhece o escritor tcheco novamente.

Após a Tchecoslováquia ser invadida pelo exército nazista em plena 2ª Guerra Mundial, diversos pilotos tchecos decidem voar até a Inglaterra. Lá eles tomam parte da Real Força Aérea Britânica, a RAF, e passam a combater o próprio exército nazista. Entretanto, ao retornar ao seu país-natal após o término da guerra, dois amigos são presos em um campo de concentração ao serem considerados anti-comunistas.

Em 1952 na então Tchecoslováquia, o gerente e palhaço do Circo Cernik, Karel, é investigado pela policia secreta comunista devido a manter em sua trupe diversos artistas estrangeiros. Além disso, sofre com problemas familiares: a esposa Zama está insatisfeita e a filha Tereza se enamorou de Vosdek, um dos trabalhadores do circo que nunca contou nada sobre seu passado. Quando Karel desconfia haver um informante da polícia dentre os membros do circo, ele começa os preparativos para por em prática um plano que vinha elaborando há três anos: o de cruzar a fronteira policiada, a "Cortina de Ferro", e fugir com todo os artistas para o Ocidente.
