Heldorado (1946)

Denton Baxter (Michael Gambon) é um poderoso vaqueiro do Oeste americano, que ameaça todos aqueles que podem tirar seu poder na cidade em que vive. Cansados desta situação, Charley Waite (Kevin Costner), Boss Spearman (Robert Duvall), Button (Diego Luna) e Mose Harrison (Abraham Benrubi) decidem enfrentá-lo. Porém em meio à batalha Charley acaba conhecendo Sue Barlow (Annette Bening), uma mulher que conquista seu coração.

Após um grupo de soldados norte-americanos desaparecer em plena selva colombiana, um oficial do departamento anti-drogas do governo americano (John Travolta) é designado para investigar o caso. Entre os desaparecidos estão um respeitado instrutor do exército (Samuel L. Jackson) e ainda diversos cadetes em treinamento.

Roy Rogers, a Nevada State Ranger Captain in charge of the Rangers Reclamation Service, makes a trip to Las Vegas for the annual Heldorado Frontier Days Festival, as he wants to help his old friend Gabby Whittaker who originated the idea (at least, in this film).In Las Vegas, Roy meets heiress Carol Randall, who has been selected as the Queen of the Heldorado. Roy is informed that the F.B.I. wants an immediate investigation of the counterfeit thousand dollar bills that are being passed over the gambling tables at the casino.

A bounty hunter is hired to abduct a reporter who has uncovered a U.N. conspiracy plot.
