Under a very strict military curfew Salah, a grieving father, sets out on the road to cross the Israeli border carrying his dead son Omar in a duffel bag. Miri, a pregnant single woman, decides to help him out at all costs while fending off the terrible heat.

Thomas, um jovem confeiteiro alemão, tem um caso com Oren, um israelense casado que vai a Berlim à negócios com frequência. Quando Oren morre em um acidente de carro, Thomas viaja para Jerusalém buscando respostas sobre o amante. Sob uma identidade falsa, Thomas conhece Anat, a viúva de Oren, que é dona de um café na cidade. Aos poucos, o alemão começa a se envolver na vida dela, arrumando um trabalho no café e criando bolos e biscoitos para dar mais vida ao estabelecimento.

Ronen Matalon, born and raised in Jerusalem. He start make a tour guide. His tour, called "From Trauma to Fantasy" leads people in the footsteps of terrorist attacks on Jaffa Street in Jerusalem, and attempts to touch upon the collective trauma of those days.
Director
Kamel, a young Bedouin, is a proud security guard at the Be’er Sheba central bus station. When the Israeli government threatens to tear down his settlement he decides to act. Kamel comes up with a plan to stage a bomb attack, which he will then prevent from happening, making him the hero of the day, hopefully saving his settlement and earning him the respect he's so desperately yearning for.
