Takuma Hiraoka

Manji é um samurai altamente qualificado que foi torna-se amaldiçoado com a imortalidade após uma lendária batalha. Assombrado pelo brutal assassinato de sua irmã, o guerreiro sabe que só o combate ao mal recuperará sua alma. Por isso, ele decide ajudar uma jovem ousada que está movida pelo ódio e pela sede de vingança depois da morte de seus pais em um crime brutal.

Haruta is handsome and smart, Chika is bright and naive. When they were children, they were friends until Haruta's family moved away while he was in the 3rd grade. They meet again during a high school entrance ceremony. After all of these years, Chika is eager to join the wind instrument club. Due to an incident, the wind instrument club is about to be disbanded. Chika can't give up the flute so she attracts Haruta to her side and tries to recruit members from the wind instrument club. The group attempts to solve various cases taking place at their school while they plan to take part in a contest.

Katsuya Maruyama (Hiraoka Takuma) is a middle school student boy full of obscene thoughts. He then meets Tatsuo Shimoi (Tsuyoshi Kusanagi), a single father who moves into the same apartment complex. Tatsuo Shimoi is a bit of an enigma: he doesn't get along with the housewives in the apartment complex and doesn't appear to work. Through his encounter with the mysterious single father, Katsuya grows as a person.

O tema deste filme é o amor entre pais e filhos. A história cobre 13 anos e começa com Hana, uma estudante de faculdade de 19 anos, que se encontra e se apaixona, daquela forma intensa vista nos contos de fadas, por um “lobisomem”. Depois de se casar com ele, Hana dá a luz e cria duas crianças lobo: A mais velha, Yuki (neve), nasceu em um dia em que nevava e Ame (chuva), o mais novo, nasceu em um dia chuvoso. Os quatro viviam tranquilamente em um canto da cidade, para esconder a existência de “crianças lobo”, mas, quando o lobisomem morre de repente, Hana decide se mudar para uma cidade rural, distante da modernidade.
