Yasuhiro Yoshiura

Yasuhiro Yoshiura is a Japanese writer and director of animated short films. Born in 1980 in Hokkaido, and raised in Fukuoka, he graduated from Kyushu University's Faculty of Design (formerly Kyushu Institute of Design) in 2003. He moved to Tokyo following the release of his critically acclaimed film Pale Cocoon in 2006. Yoshiura's production company is called Studio Rikka. He often also provides the voice of a minor character in his works.

A história do filme se passa em um futuro onde a mecatrônica atingiu um nível de perfeição incrível, capaz de fabricar robôs praticamente idênticos a seres humanos, com a diferença de que eles são usados apenas como meras ferramentas. A trama se desenrola quando o dono de um desses andróides, Rikuo, percebe que seu andróide, Sammy, está agindo de forma estranha. Tentando descobrir a causa, ele acaba encontrando um "café" chamado Eve no Jikan, cuja regra era que não houvesse descriminação entre humano e andróide.
