Quando Estranhos Chegam é um filme de suspense psicológico intenso e extraordinário. Quando Beth (Mitchell) abre seu carro-restaurante de estrada, ela só espera mais um dia sem movimento. Mas logo em seguida, Jack (Watson), um nômade bonitão, entra correndo e sangrando. Em poucos instantes, três homens, que Jack alega estarem lhe perseguindo, aparecem e arma-se o palco para um jogo mortal de gato e rato enquanto Beth deve decidir em quem confiar ou temer.
Production Design
A struggling architect, being sued for divorce by his wife and struggling with booze and gambling, finds work remodeling a friend's strip club, the Paradise. There he meets a transsexual stripper who is bothered by accurate, but extremely violent visions of future events. The increasingly violent visions start including the architect, who doesn't believe in the prophesy. One who does however is a psychiatrist who is seeing both the stripper and the architect and is sleeping with the ex-wife. He uses the prophecies for his own financial gain. Finally the scenes from the vision move into reality amidst many plot turns.
Production Design
On the premise that his albums will sell better if he is dead, an aging pop-singer fakes his own death. True enough, the money rolls in, but no one can get their hands on it because of the seven year waiting period before a missing person can be declared legally dead. However, a crazed animal rights terrorist, who knows he isn't dead, is trying to kill him, because of the singer's advertisements for fried chicken restaurants. Eventually, it turns out that the singer's manager is paying the terrorist to kill him.
