After my grandfather 's Baek-su (age 99’s birthday party) banquet, asking me to write an autobiography for him. Two years later, he passed away and left his favor as homework to me. I discovered the history of the past that I could not associate with his name. As a filmmaker, I frequently attended burials that were far from my life. I have been living in the United States for a while, and I have often come to think about the country and nationality.

Instability and fear in today's society is portrayed by incorporating the directors' personal story in this experimental piece. The film continually questions and reasons through the images and sounds of both the directors' personal accounts as well as actual records of Korean society.

"Film is difficult. Film is expensive. Film requires a lot of steps. Film takes a lot of time. Film is dead." disagreeing is the beginning of this project. Three filmmakers, three stories, are improvised or sequential relay shots through a single 16mm Volex camera.

I record my body experiance that repeat but always have to be different by photogram of X-ray images, laces and underwears. I made a sound for others experiances of my body that I can not see and feel as them with sound recording and export sound from film images.
Mirror and Watch

Records and memories, seeing and showing. The place where the director was born and grew up, and two cities in Germany were captured in super 8mm film cameras. The work contains the process of finding one's own records, going through the city, recording memories, and returning to Korea to discover new memories.
