Isamu Imakake (今掛 勇, Imakake Isamu, April 22, 1968) is an animator, animation director, character and mechanical designer, and anime director. He is from Kagoshima prefecture. He became widely known for his Cowboy Bebop set design. He has been a freelancer in Gainax since 1988 and has been active in manga, book covers and illustrations in the past. He is currently a director of animated theatrical works, an animation director, and character designer.

Em busca de maiores informações sobre os responsáveis pelo ataque, o governo local oferece uma alta recompensa a qualquer informação entregue. O Esquadrão Bebop se interessa pela oferta e passa a usar suas táticas para encontrar o culpado pelo ataque.

Tanto este filme, como o anterior (Morte e Renascimento), caracterizam o "final alternativo" de Neon Genesis Evangelion. Por ser um final alternativo, os episódios 25 e 26 da série original são desconsiderados. "O Fim de Evangelion", assim como "Morte e Renascimento", é divido em duas partes: A primeira é a repetição de "Renascimento" com mais cenas e renomeado para "Air" (chamado também de "Episódio 25"). A segunda parte é chamada de "Heart" (ou "Episódio 26"). O filme mostra o verdadeiro final da série. Todos os acontecimentos de Neon Genesis Evangelion culminaram para esse ponto. O Terceiro Impacto começa e cabe a Shinji Ikari decidir o futuro da humanidade. Sem deixar os momentos de ação e de filosofia de lado (e também muitas indagações), "O Fim de Evangelion" é um final merecido para série.

An archaeological expedition finds the mummified bodies of Genghis Khan and his army somewhere in Mongolia. Unaware that the location is cursed, the explorers wake up the former ruler of the Mongolian empire. He warns the intruders that a large calamity will befall the world in one thousand days. The only ones who can prevent this from happening are three persons who bear wolf-shaped arrow scars. They must join forces and kill the "three emperors" so that the Khan's soul can once again sleep for a thousand years.
