"Meebo" is an elementary school student and loves fish. His life is indeed "fish-a-holic". Meebo stares at the fish, draws the fish and eat the fish every day. His father worries that he is a little different from other children but his mother always encourages and supports him warmly rather than worrying. After entering a high school, Meebo is still obsessed with the fish as usual. For some reason, Meebo is getting along with rogues like a protagonist of a tale. Eventually, Meebo starts to live alone. With encounters and re-encounters, he is still loved by the people around him and pushes forward straight to his only way.
Sachi começa a trabalhar meio período em um café, depois de largar o antigo emprego como curadora em um museu, no mesmo momento em que se muda para um apartamento indicado por um cliente do seu novo local de trabalho. Taeko’s friend Maya confesses that she has a crush on Taeko's father. Taeko tells her father and mother. Taeko's mother laughs and Taeko's father acts like its not a big deal. Since then, Maya rushes to Taeko's father.
At a train station in the suburbs of Tokyo, an accident takes place causing death and injury. Tsuyoshi is at the scene and witnesses the death of a woman. Right before the accident occurred, Tsuyoshi took a photograph of the woman, who carried a gentle look. Later, Tsuyoshi learns the woman has a daughter named Kiriko. Tsuyoshi meets Kiriko.
