Egor Korshunov (40) is a Siberian forest guard who works in a local environmental company, fighting fearlessly against poachers in taiga. Egor is a great family man, respected by his fellow villagers. He and his wife Natalia are expecting a second child. Unexpectedly, Egor finds out that he has terminal cancer and has only two months left to live. No traditional medicine or shamanic magic can save Egor. Finally, left with no other options, he decides to take the last desperate step. He attempts to completely change his identity in order to fool the oncoming death, just like Zhamba the drake, the hero of a legendary ancient Siberian epos, did.

Things are finally starting to look bright for Ilya, a relatively unknown actor. Starting tomorrow, he will be the voice of Men's Radio. So of course he celebrates the occasion. But the next morning, the newly-crowned radio host finds himself unable to utter a single word. After a wild night out on the town he has completely lost his voice. It's half an hour before he goes on air, prime-time, the contract has already been signed, Ilya is in a state of panic... The only solution is to get an injection in his voice box. According to the doctor on hand, this is the only thing that might save the day.

Estes não são apenas pára-quedistas comuns. Esta é uma equipe de infiltragem experientes e altamente treinados, a elite dos Waffen-SS, superhumanos. A única coisa no seu caminho é uma unidade de artilharia antiaérea do cabo Vaskov e cinco jovens em treinamento. O filme inicia como um típico thriller policial, com um serial killer à solta, mas também desenvolve um tenso estudo psicológico sobre o relacionamento entre uma menina de rua, Chuma, e um policial experiente, Hanin. Chuma é uma adolescente órfã que está prestes a ser enviada para uma colônia para jovens delinqüentes por causa de seu envolvimento em crimes de rua na companhia de outros jovens. Hanin, entretanto, tem planos para prender um serial killer cujas vítimas são adolescentes. Ele oferece liberdade à Chuma se ela concordar em se tornar um chamariz numa armadilha para capturar o assassino. Porém mal sabe ele que terá de lidar com a torrente de emoções de uma jovem perturbada e também expor sua namorada ao perigo.
