This film is a tribute to love, a tribute to cinema. Our two main characters take us with them into the intimacy of "real people". We cross the roads of France with them, in their different vans and pick-up trucks transformed for the occasion into mini movie studios. Their concept: to film "declarations of love" and to deliver them directly by van to their recipients. And we discover, as we go along, that our duo and their own personal adventures are subtly intertwined with the people they film. This mix of genres offers several universes to the spectator in order to make him question himself about love.

French actor Mathieu Amalric directs the made-for-TV comedy La Chose Publique (Public Affairs). Shot on digital video, the film is a satire of French politics and media personalities. Television director Philippe Roberts (Jean-Quentin Chatelain) has been assigned to make a film series, so he decides to use his own life and marriage as an inspiration. Public Affairs was shown at the 2003 Cannes Film Festival.

"Maine-Ocean" is the name of a train that rides from Paris to Saint-Nazaire (near the ocean). In that train, Dejanira, a Brazilian, has a brush with the two ticket inspectors. Mimi, another traveler and also a lawyer, helps her. The four of them will meet together later and live a few shifted adventures with a strange-speaking sailor (Mimi's client).

A film producer on the verge of ruin decides to make an erotic film.

Henri, Daniel and Xavier have just opened a travel agency in Paris. Henri runs the agency while Daniel and Xavier go on trip to take care of the group of tourists in Morocco. The troubles begin when Xavier and Daniel arrive in Morocco and discover that Henri has closed the agency in Paris and hasn't booked any hotels or attractions for the trip. Without any money, Daniel and Xavier decide to continue the journey. Their luck is their meeting with the rich Prince Douzami who falls in love with one of the tourist, Marilyn, and he decides to help them. The trip is still disturbed by two criminals Mata and Harry who want to take a microfilm that daniel has unfortunately swallowed.

The small Norman village of Allouville is proud of its thousand-year-old oak tree. But one day, a project of enlargement threatens the tree. The deputy Charles Crétois was keen on this project, which allowed him to continue the speculation he had been indulging in on certain lands. He is supported by the mayor of Allouville to whom he promised the Legion of Honor. But the whole village protests: they want to save the oak tree.

Dracula ends up in London, England where he becomes a horror movie star exploiting his vampire status. His son, meanwhile, is ashamed of his roots and ends up a night watchman in Paris, France where he falls for a girl. Naturally, tensions arise when father and son are reunited and both take a liking to the same girl.

William, together with his family, joins his childhood friend and his family in a crowded country house for a summer vacation. As a result, he has had to leave behind his mistress and all the other lovely women he enjoys trying to seduce. This French slapstick comedy stars the musician/comedian foursome Les Charlots, as valets to the Four Musketeers. One of the film's highlights is a mutual kicking session between Cardinal Richelieu, the King, and a monk. This comedy foursome was enormously popular in 1970s France, and they made a huge number of films during that period.

Um dos filmes que melhor representa as loucuras que se passam em um set de filmagem. Um ator que fica deprimido porque sua noiva sai com um dublê, uma atriz que se entregou às bebidas e não consegue lembrar de suas falas e muitas outras confusões, que o diretor deve fazer de tudo para contornar, até gravarem uma das cenas mais importantes do filme: a que o dia deve ser transformado em noite artificialmente.

Quatro amigos ao atingirem a meia idade estão satisfeitos com o seu status social, mas alguma coisa nas suas vidas pessoais começa a tornar a existência um peso difícil de carregar. Decidem trancar-se em um final de semana sozinhos em uma mansão e cometer suicídio, mas a forma que escolhem é o mais poderoso paradigma da burguesia europeia: comer; comer até morrer.
