A kind man aspires to become a manga writer, but villains and evil deeds do not come easily to him, for he has little experience or natural inclination for them. Things take a surprise turn when he comes across a family who were described as idealized that are no more. He uses the real-life situation for his work.

Agetarō, a third generation tonkatsu shop owner, one day makes a bentō delivery for the first time to a club where he experiences an uplifting feeling he's never had before. Furthermore, he is wholeheartedly set on winning the heart of Sonoko, with whom he fell in love at first sight, so he decides to be both a tonkatsu shop owner and DJ.

Tachibana Akira (Komatsu Nana) é uma estudante do ensino médio de 17 anos. Ela costumava fazer parte do clube de atletismo, porém, devido a uma lesão, ela não é mais capaz de correr tão rápido como antes. Akira começa, então, a trabalhar meio período em um restaurante familiar e ela acaba se apaixonando pelo seu gerente Kondo Masami (Oizumi Yo), um homem divorciado de 45 anos de idade com um filho.
