A luta interna entre eles e as próprias eleições tem influência direta no campo, onde acontece o estado de guerra. Ambos disputam o apoio de Le Pen, da extrema direita, e se organiza assim um golpe de força para manter a colônia. Dessa colônia a França explora o níquel usado nos trilhos das ferrovias.

French Postcards rings both comic and true. The French tutor them well, as befits their reputation. Jean Rochefort is the harassed headmaster with a hankering for affairs, and Marie-France Pisier is his very sexy wife. Watch for a newcomer named Debra Winger, and another-Mandy Patinkin.
