The film is about a day in the life of Elizaveta Petrovna Glinka, also known as Doctor Liza. Moscow, 2012. The Glinka family prepares for a celebration: thirty years together. The closest friends are invited for dinner, the sons have arrived. Of course, Liza has freed up this day for her family. There’s just a trifle: to stop by the Fund and see the weekly patients at the Paveletsky Station. But the days of Doctor Liza are always full of surprises… In a hospital in a Moscow suburb a five-year-old girl is dying. The duty doctor has to discharge Eva. Due to medical formalities the child, who suffers from cancer, is left without painkillers. In utter despair, the girl’s father turns to Liza for help. When Liza cannot find a way to help the child within the system, she decides on a desperate act…

Tanya is 40 years old, has an adult daughter and a reliable husband, whose birthday it is today. That means, after work the whole family goes to a restaurant. Tanya’s plans are crossed by her first great love, Denis, who has suddenly arrived in Moscow for business. Tanya and Denis spend this day together, and for a while forget that they are no longer 20. This id different from all the other seldom meetings, because Denis puts Tanya before a choice: here is her stable life where there is a husband and a daughter, and there is a ticket to Berlin where they can go together and try to make up all the years they have missed out.

Nastya é uma garotinha que mora com na casa de sua avó e é dona de dois cães muito inteligentes, a cocker spaniel Yoko e Pirata, um cão sem raça definida (vira-latas). Em férias da escola, ambas planejam uma viagem para visitar seus pais. Ela resolve então, deixar os dois cães num hotel para cachorros, acreditando ser o melhor para os cães. Yoko e Pirata acabam sentindo-se excluídos no hotel e resolvem fugir e voltar para casa, ideia que os alegra muito. A felicidade canina é interrompida quando os picaretas do hotel revelam-se dois ladrões que tentarão roubar a casa da avó de Nastya. Só não contavam que Yoko e Pirata não iriam deixar barato e defenderão a casa com patas, ossos e muito Rock’n’Roll!
