Philippe e Daniel têm a chance de ajudar Hans confessando suas ações às autoridades, compartilhando a culpa pelo crime e aceitando os termos da prisão. Pressão adicional é aplicada pela ex-namorada de Hans, com o argumento de que a vida em jogo é a vida de Hans. Phillipe e Daniel afirmam que suas vidas estão em jogo também.
