Baseado na história real da menina de um ano e meio Jessica McClure, que caiu em um encanamento abandonado na casa de sua tia, no Texas, enquanto brincava. O cano em que ficou presa media cerca de 20 centímetros de diâmetro e tinha seis metros de profundidade.
