The Internationally award winning documentary film from Norway follows a 33 year old woman's life prior to serving a 7 year prison sentence for killing her own 66 year old father. He sexually abused her from she was 6 - 17 years old. He also abused her sister who became a drug addict and died of an overdose at the age of 38. The film brings us back to her childhood and describes how sexual abuse can go on for years without anyone is reacting to it. "My beloved child" deals with issues like physical, emotional and sexual abuse, domestic problems, suicide, drug issues, societies responsibility, individual responsibility, post effects/late consequences of childhood traumas. The films is primarily made - and edited - for children and youths, in order for them to understand and put words to abuse.

Johnny, a psychopath, puts together a gang made up of young teenage girls to commit crimes for him. Everything is going well until one day, during a diamond robbery, the girls are forced to take two hostages and bring them back to the hideout along with the loot. Furious, Johnny wants to kill the hostages so there will be no witnesses, but one of his gang, who happens to be his sister, starts to think that maybe Johnny is going too far.

Повествование фильма условно разделяется на две части. В первой части рассказывается об одном архитекторе средних лет по имени Лоренцо, который однажды ночью в закрытом для посетителей в это время суток музее соблазняет и вступает в интимную близость с молодой студенткой Сандрой. По прошествии некоторого времени Сандра подаёт на Лоренцо в суд, обвинив того в совершении изнасилования (как оказалось, у архитектора были заранее приготовлены ключи от того места, где он совершил акт соития с молодой девушкой). Во время судебного процесса Лоренцо настаивает на своей невиновности, приводя в качестве доводов в свою пользу желание Сандры совершить половой акт в ту ночь и отсутствие элементов насилия в данном деле. Во второй части фильма речь идёт о мучительных сомнениях прокурора, представлявшего на суде интересы Сандры.

Главной героине фильма Кэт Коннорс семнадцать лет, она живет в небольшом городке. Однажды ее мать бесследно исчезает, ее поиски оказываются безрезультатными, и девушка постепенно свыкается с мыслью, что мама ушла из ее жизни навсегда. Но спустя два года призраки прошлого вновь начинают терзать ее и возвращаются тревожные сны. Единственный способ поставить точку и жить дальше - узнать, что же на самом деле произошло.

Место действия - два голливудских дома. В одном живет стареющая актриса, которая надеется сыграть роль собственной давно погибшей матери - легенды черно-белого кино. Laila is an innocent Lappish girl and the only daughter of a reindeer herder. During world war II Laila rescues crashed German fighter pilot Hans and the two develop warm feelings for each other during his convalescence. Years later, after the war, Hans returns to Lapland as a freelance photographer and manages to lure Laila to run away with him to capital Helsinki to start a career as a photo model, much to the chagrin of her traditional father Aslak. After initial happiness, however, Hans abandons Laila and the decadent lifestyle of a big city sends her life into a downward spiral.

The confused Tod flees to a nearby town where he meets Linda, a local bar girl, and begins a sexual relationship with her, while a rough cowboy named Rawhide sexually assaults Abilene leaving Tod wanting revenge despite Linda's wariness and growing compassion for Abilene.
