20 Seconds of Joy (2018)

A talented high school football player encounters trouble in a college program.

The film reconstructs the mysterious story of the 1942 Patagonia World Soccer championship, never acknowledged by the official sports organizations, and which for decades have remained shrouded in legend without the winner ever being known.

Young David Morton, heir to millions, has been over-zealously restrained from normal youthful activities by his two old-maid Aunts, Harriet and Agatha. In an outburst from his confinement, he meets lovely Gertrude, and promises to race her injured-brothers car in the Big Race. Between the gangsters trying to win the race by disabling him, and his bungling bodyguards trying to bring him home safely, David has a battle to win the race and Gertrude's heart.

In-Son is a young benchwarmer with aspirations of breaking into the first team, which is littered with established stars. The opening game of the season hands him his opportunity, but his lack of experience coupled with the expectation of the crowd leave him with little success on the pitch. The side loses, forcing the manager and the team back to the drawing board.

The special presentation will feature the top knockouts to date in the WEC organization's history. Also featured in the hour is “The All American” Brian Stann’s knockout over Doug Marshall in March 2008, in which Stann claimed the light heavyweight title and two standouts from 2007 including Brock Larson’s defeat of Kevin Knabjian and Brian Bowles knockout of Marcos Galvao.

A local handyman saves a child in a fire, but the burns he receives disfigure his face so much that the townspeople avoid him.

The arrogant Arizmendi, pelota champion, lives intoxicated by his success and disdain for women who love him. Arizmendi commits blackmail to lose a game. Convinced to get away with it, Arizmendi does not meet the covenant and must face the villainous revenge Marcial Gomez.

The earliest surviving Japanese film showing the martial art of kendo.

Shows a young black boy and a white boy in a lively set-to. They finally collapse in the centre of the ring after they have fought themselves to a stand-still. The referee proceeds to count them both out, and the seconds empty buckets of water on the fighters.

This picture shows the Columbia crossing the line, leading the Shamrock by about 1/2 mile. The Shamrock is plainly seen in the distance and she later comes up and crosses the line in the same picture.
