They spend their summer at the driving school.

On that day a Japan Air Liner crashed and Satogakuin teacher Sato Takashi goes on a murdering rampage. Sato Takashi was known as a kind and generous person, but his mind was taken over by an evil entity. That evil entity now tries to take over Atsuo's mind...

High school student Noguchi learns that there isn't a single male softball team in the nearby area. He figures if he starts up a softball team, they are sure thing to go to the national tournament. He then persuades his friend Onitsuka to help him start a softball club. Once Noguchi and Onitsuka rounds up enough players, they teams preps to win one all important game in the tournament.

High school student Mio (Mari Iriki) lives in Kagoshima. Since her novelist father was lost, she has refused to go to school and lived on her father's yacht, which is anchored at a dock. Kiyomi (Asami Tanaka) likes yachting, because of her father's influence back in her childhood days. During a practicing yachting, Kiyomi lost her friend and she also quit her special yachting school. Kiyomi then transfers to a regular high school. Finally, these two girls meet.

The story of the original manga writer Rieko Saibara is depicted by her alter ego Natsumi Takahara who revisits where she was raised and recalls her childhood and how everything turned out.
