Desensitized and dissatisfied, a young yet jaded sexual veteran sets out on a journey of self-discovery while teetering on the threshold of womanhood. Yasuko is taking part in an orgy when she realizes that she has lost all feeling - not just physically, but emotionally as well. A public bath house is the scene of illegal female slave trading operations in 18th century Japan and government spy Shinzo is sent in to expose the ringleaders as well as working to get a law passed eliminating coed bathing.
Set in the Edo Era, the film opens with a group of women being convicted of various crimes. The rest of the film is given to graphic depiction of the tortures the women endure as part of their sentences.
