Merowe Dam in North Sudan. Maher works in a traditional brickyard fed by the waters of the Nile. Every evening, he secretly wanders off into the desert to erect a mysterious construction made of mud. Despite a disturbing wound in his lower back that seems to be eating away at his skin, he continues his labor day after day. While the Sudanese people rise to claim their freedom, his mud creation starts slowly to take a life of its own.

Castuera, Spain, April 1939. During the night two Falangist Guards appear at the door of the house where Paz is taking refuge with her family. They request her presence at the police station. Paz immediately understands the fatality of this visit. With no chance to escape, she asks to breastfeed her newborn daughter one last time.

A Western-like documentary set in a remote rural region in Lesotho: a frontier space where the ways of modern society are of little, if any, value. The arrival of economic migrants from China has irrevocably upset the balance of power, as old laws and ancient gods are doddering away. Subtle moments and small gestures reveal the trauma of expatriation, the burden of personal sacrifice, solitude and alienation, as well as the painful experience of otherness. As old structures begin to disintegrate and violence is about to erupt, one rule asserts itself above all others: eat or be eaten.

Рохас должен помочь другу перевести гуманитарную помощь из Литвы в село Карловка, расположенное около самой гущи боевых действий между донецкими сепаратистами и украинской армией. Это так называемая серая зона — нейтральная полоса для противоборствующих сил. В путь он отправляется на фургоне, прихватив с собой девушку Ингу, не говорящую по-русски. В дороге они встречают французских журналистов. Усталая, недовольная Рохасом Инга изменяет ему со связным, курирующим доставку — неопрятным мужчиной за сорок с редеющими волосами. Но это лишь маленькая размолвка перед действительно опасным этапом их путешествия, ведь скоро они приблизятся к расположению украинской армии.

Когда-то давно люди и монстры мирно сосуществовали, но люди всё испортили, и теперь монстрам приходится скрываться. Маленькому и наивному монстрику, наследнику трона монстров, предстоит столкнуться с Королём Демонов и предотвратить войну.

Маруся — так зовут маленькую девочку, дочку 38-летней Ларисы, бывшей фотомодели, которая живет во Франции, стране ее мечты, где она так долго и безуспешно ищет мужчину своей мечты. «Ma Roussie» — по-французски «моя Россия». Имя девочки так созвучно с названием ее страны, о которой пятилетняя Маруся почти ничего не помнит, разве что «там много снега, и они едят с бабушкой апельсины только зимой». Ее дом давно уже здесь во Франции, правда, у ее мамы здесь нет ни работы, ни крыши над головой. Иногда они даже не знают, где им переночевать. Но разве это важно? Главное, что они есть друг у друга. Мать и дочь. А значит все будет хорошо, если не сейчас, то в будущем точно.

In this bittersweet family comedy, shy teenager Libby moves back to Israel to live with her hapless father Shaul, unexpectedly finding herself without a home as war breaks out around them. Shaul devises a creative solution: posing as refugees, they are taken in by a wealthy family in Jerusalem. Finally in a “normal” household, Shaul and Libby begin to build their father-daughter relationship, but their false identities can’t last forever.
