A historical film that takes place on the eve of the thirty year war combines aspects of fairy-tales with historical dramas, fencing with a child heroes who find themselves in great dangers. We are in the year 1611 and mercenaries that had previously invaded Czech lands now have to withdraw before the Hungarian king's army. In this chaos a magical bottle, that fulfills the owner one single wish, appears among some fugitives - however after the fulfillment it has to be sold for half it's price to a new owner. The director Ludvík Ráža has created an attractive and surprisingly cruel film aimed not only at young viewers.

Taxi driver Koukal (Miroslav Machácek) is stopped by the police for a routine traffic check. In the boot of his car the police find the body of a naked man. Koukal is arrested even though he claims he knows nothing about it. The case is assigned to Major Mlynár (Milan Sandhaus). The police identify the corpse as that of an Austrian citizen called Mitrik. Koukal has been regularly driving people interested in gambling to a secret gaming den. The police are put onto the gambling den by another taxi driver, who admits that he drove Mitrik there. Mlynár and officer cadet Pecka (Ivan Vyskocil) feign interest in gambling and visit the gaming den incognito.

It is the summer of 1968 and also in South Moravian Pálavice appear political clashes. The so far peacefully farming Unified farmers' cooperative starts splitting. Some of the farmers have found the cooperative called Vidrupa and want to deal with wine in private trade. Michal Janák, chairman of the farmers' cooperative is a deliberate man and refuses the latent return to the capitalism. As an excellent farmer he continues preparing planting out new vineyards. His adversaries do not agree - the returns will come many years later. Jozka Hrdlicka, an émigré, notices on the Austrian TV the interview with the representatives of Vidrupa and decides to visit his native village. The new suit and the hired car transform the bankrupt and criminal to the successful businessman with wine.

"švadlenka") за то, что он посвящал свой досуг сшиванию ковриков. Однажды его друг Лукаш знакомит его с привлекательной Юлкой Вавровой. Наивный Йиржи влюблялется в девушку и принимает её приглашение съездить на праздник к родне. Там он узнаёт, что Юлка - мать-одиночка, имеющая маленького сына Мартинека, отец которого - женатый мужчина Валеш. Юлка, напрасно ожидавшая, что Валеш разведётся со свой женой и женится на ней, убеждает Йиржи взять её замуж. Йиржи, который привязался к Мартинеку, соглашается и признаёт мальчика своим сыном, чтобы положить конец деревенским сплетням о Юлке. Но впоследствии Юлка бросает их обоих и сбегает к Валешу. Йиржи, характер которого в армии закалился, по окончании службы возвращается домой вместе с мальчиком.

Около спасательной станции у вышеградского тоннеля, где упал в Влтаву автобус с иностранными учёными, за проявленное мужество право быть первым получает водолаз Алоиз Водичка. Дом Водички к тому же был снесён при посредничестве Доктора Мрачека. Следовательно, решено доктора Мрачека утопить.

Мачеха Золушки всеми силами хочет выдать свою глупую и злую родную дочь замуж за принца. Но тому совсем не хочется жениться, он ссорится с отцом и собирается покинуть дворец, но… в последний момент он влюбляется в очаровательную незнакомку в маске, которая быстро исчезает. Принц и не догадывается, что эта прекрасная девушка, ловкий стрелок, которого он встретил в лесу и озорная девчонка — одно и то же лицо. Все эти превращения оказались возможными благодаря волшебным орешкам, в одном из которых находился и свадебный подарок для Золушки.

Lemuel Gulliver (Lubomír Kostelka) has had a car accident and continues his journey across the unknown countryside on foot. On the road he finds a dead rabbit dressed like a man and takes a watch from its waistcoat breast pocket. The half-ruined house that he enters reminds Lemuel of his childhood and brings up a painful memory of a dearly loved girl Markéta who was drowned years ago. Gulliver finds himself in Balnibarbi, a country where he doesn't understand the laws and habits and so continually offends against public decency. It is a day when people are ordered to keep their mouths shut and they force their visitor to follow suit. He faces harsh interrogation and finds it difficult to explain that he is not the rabbit Oscar whose watch has been found in his possession.

In the aftermath of World War II, a soldier takes charge of a manor formerly owned by a German family and falls in love with the daughter, now a maid. Their relationship forces him to confront the tension between his love and his conscience.

An artist's studio is descended upon by a group of retired men and a young mother who agree to model in the nude for money. Comedy ensues as the students and the local bureaucracy react to the models, all in need of extra money. Several running gags border on slapstick as the officials and the students don't know what to do with the nude models.

A verger, who likes to dress as a priest, is invited, by one of the villagers, to be the pastor at a vacant church. The atheist teacher resents the pastor, and tries to embarrass him in various ways, including being caught with the local girl, Majka.

It is 5 May 1945 and the uprising against the hated German occupiers has broken out in Prague. The Czech guards open the gate of the Pankrác prison to allow the prisoners to escape en masse. Many of them are shot dead by the German guards but young Ruda (Jaromír Hanzlík) manages to run away. He is taken care of by one of the Prague fighters, concierge Kytka. Kytka hides him in the flat of the house's owner where only the young maid Karla (Jana Brejchová) is left, ordering her to take care of Ruda.

Cast out by his father, young Ondrej joins the Order of the Teutonic Knights, where he is raised by strict monk Armin. After years of hardship, Ondrej escapes from the Order when he is wrongly punished, and sets out for his former home. Arriving to discover his father to be dead, Armin now not only assumes control of his fathers properties, but seeks to marry his former stepmother.

This three-part ballad, which often uses music to stand in for dialogue, remains the most perfect embodiment of Nemec’s vision of a film world independent of reality. Mounting a defense of timid, inhibited, clumsy, and unsuccessful individuals, the three protagonists are a complete antithesis of the industrious heroes of socialist aesthetics. Martyrs of Love cemented Nemec’s reputation as the kind of unrestrained nonconformist the Communist establishment considered the most dangerous to their ideology.

A young man tries to enter the building of the Mammoth Cybernetic Supermachines Research Institute again and again but each time the doorkeeper spots him and kicks him out. The youth finally arrives with all his friends and a huge live bear from the circus where he works as an accountant. He is finally allowed in where he explains to the members of the directorate that he wants to work at the Institute, since he graduated in cybernetics and, besides, he has invented a machine for forecasting time of death. When the conniving research manager learns that their director is going to die in two days, he hopes to rise to his position.

Seven days, or rather evenings and nights, in the life of Jenka (Stanislava Bartosová), a young good-looking nurse. Jenka is attractive to men and enjoys their company, but there is a limit beyond which she won't go, since she is faithful to her Filip, who is doing his military service. On Sunday the girl awaits Filip to arrive on a short period of leave, but instead his friend Míla (Frantisek Nemec) turns up and apologizes for Filip, who has to stay in the barracks.

По одноименной пьесе Франтишека Павличека, о судьбе одинокой женщины Анны Коциановой, всю свою жизнь посвятившей сыну. Мать не заметила, как сын вырос эгоистом, и поняла, что его влечет "легкая и красивая жизнь" лишь после того, как он бежал за границу.

Для дезорганизации работы транспорта и срыва экспортных поставок иностранная разведка забросила в Чехословакию матёрого диверсанта Рудольфа Карлика. Он остановился у бывшего радиста Яна Шимека, своего старого приятеля по диверсионной работе.

A poetic film about a dove getting lost on its way to Prague getting shot down by a paralyzed boy. An artist who finds the dove becomes friends with the boy. Together they take care of it bringing it back to recovery.

Случайно Пепичек оказался пассажиром ТУ-104. Обнаружив «зайца», команда самолёта решила доставить мальчика в Прагу вечерним рейсом. В Москве, чтобы не тратить драгоценного времени, Пепичек отправился гулять по праздничным улицам и площадям. Сколько интересного увидел он здесь!

Герои фильма — заядлые любители хоккея — забросили учёбу, и некоторые из членов команды начали получать двойки. Узнав об этом, родители запретили ребятам ходить на каток. Пришлось серьёзно взяться за занятия. Успехи в школе совпали со спортивным триумфом хоккеистов на очередном состязании.

Ружена отказывается делать всю работу по дому сама. У нее и Войты есть и другие занятия помимо основной работы. Ружена рисует иллюстрации для атласа, Войта пишет книгу о внешкольном обучении детей. Ни у кого из них нет времени на домашнее хозяйство. У младшего судьи Мацека эта парочка не выходит из головы, поэтому мужчина решает преподать Коскубам хороший урок супружеской жизни…

Картина посвящается чешским защитникам своей Родины, которые проявили громадное мужество, чувство долга и безграничной любви к Чехии в противостоянии агентам иностранной разведки. Действие картины происходит в районе проведения маневров военных. Герой картины сержант Милан, заводит знакомство с Еленой Бушковой, приехавшей из Праги, и искренне в неё влюбляется. Елена же оказывается прожженным агентом иностранных спецслужб и старается через Милана осуществить его вербовку и добыть необходимую информацию военного значения. В районе проведения маневров свои сети широко расставило гнездо шпионов. Между тем, органы государственной безопасности Социалистической Чехословацкой Республики с особой бдительностью защищают родные рубежи.

Красочная чехословацкая лента о семействе странствующих комедиантов, снятая по повести Ивана Ольбрахта «Брат Зак». Фильм был представлен на Каннском кинофестивале и претендовала на главную награду (Гран-при). Один из героев картины, юноша по имени Фриц, обвинен в покушении на убийство, так как слишком активно защищал свою сестру Ольгу от обидчика. Произошедшее характеризует отношение буржуазного общества к бродячим артистам. Бедные комедианты стараются работать честно, но все равно их обижают все, кому не лень.
