Четверо мужчин сорока пяти лет дружат со школы и всё ещё зовут друг друга детскими кличками: Элемент, Шампунь, Точка и Карел. Пройдя через все важные этапы жизни вместе, они пришли к кризису среднего возраста. У каждого из друзей свои личные проблемы. Элемент живёт в ожидании четвёртого ребенка и не может найти работу, Шампунь никак не может нагуляться, Точка не может повзрослеть, а Карел сбегает от семейных проблем на работу. Для того, чтобы выйти из кризиса, они придумывают необычную игру, которая заканчивается для них серьёзными последствиями.

Павел, травмированный гибелью девушки во время теракта в Тель-Авиве, нехотя соглашается на предложение своего одноклассника Плеха, который ищет нового штурмана дрона для съемок рекламы. Так же случайно Павел становится оператором на съемках избирательной кампании кандидата в президенты и постепенно втягивается в мир большой политики вместе с меркантильным Плехом – тот видит в кандидате «золотого гуся», который поможет нажиться. Идеалистическое мировоззрение Павла, мечтающего засудить Джорджа Буша за преступления в Гуантанамо, входят в противоречие с философией Плеха, считающего, что потребительство – тоже своего рода способ проявить общественную активность.

A fight flares up in the village over this reward, and all weapons, those permitted and those not, are put into use. His creditor wants the money back and starts to threaten Veronica. Her mother will not protect her since she is always drunk. Thus, the young girl must leave home and hide far away. On her journey she meets many characters. Some of them are comic, others are rather tragicomic.
