On the shores of the Gulf of Finland, the ancient Finno-Ugric peoples originated a singing tradition of mysterious power called the Regilaul. These songs are the roots of Estonia’s renowned singing culture. Based on the continuous repetition of eight-syllable verses, they produce a haunting sound able to connect the fleeting present with the eternal circle of life. Against the stunning setting of modern Estonia, this film explores how Regi songs still fire the imagination today, weaving together people and nature through song.

Тридцатые годы прошлого века. Новая встреча с героями, которые теперь уже стали взрослыми. Многие живут спокойной семейной жизнью. На этот раз главным героем фильма стал Кийр со своей «акцией женитьбы», желанием разбогатеть в портняжном деле и стать хозяином хутора. Но на его пути встречаются разнообразные препятствия...

Охотник на тюленей, потомственный рыбак Маат Рухве привозит на остров невесту. Катрина становится его женой. Ей трудно привыкнуть к условиям суровой жизни островитян, угрюмым лицам, их почти диким обычаям. И только любовь к Маату связывает ее с морем.

В основе фильма - действительные события периода первой русской революции. Руководителя музыкального общества Бернхарда Лайпманна из Вигала (волостной центр Эстляндской губернии Российской империи), во время революции 1905 года выбирают делегатом эстонского крестьянского съезда в Тарту. Он пропагандирует среди крестьян идеи социализма, убеждая их в том, что в результате революции они получат землю. Крестьяне захватывают помещичью усадьбу и сжигают её. Для подавления бунта приходят карательные войска и Лайпманн предстает перед судом. Его приговаривают к розгам, но, предпочитая смерть позору, он требует, чтобы суд заменил это наказание расстрелом.

The story is about a woman, who has to heat up the company's sauna, because the bosses want to entertain a foreign visitor. The sauna is situated in a small village were her ex husband is from, and old aunt of his is still living there. So besides having to face the party her bosses are having she also has to face her past.

На родину - в приход Паунвере, хутор Юлесоо («Заболотье») - возвращается из России Йоосеп Тоотс. В России он работал управляющим крупного помещичьего имения. Заработанные там деньги, а также знания и прогрессивный опыт ведения хозяйства Тоотс стремится потратить на то, чтобы сделать бедное отцовское хозяйство процветающим и доходным. На родине Тоотс встречает старых друзей Георга Адниэля Кийра и Арно Тали, в общем-то не изменившихся по характерам. Между Тоотсом и Кийром завязывается непримиримое соперничество за руку и сердце Теэле...

The famous chief of the corsairs Bloody John brings the lovely Isabella back as war booty from yet another foray. The avaricious Isabella shortly seizes power in the gang. Bloody John is reduced to a weak-willed, henpecked subordinate of the female robber. The desperate John escapes and seeks shelter in his dear childhood home in Saaremaa, where he starts earning a living again by honest means.

Kihnu is a small island in the Gulf of Riga. Soosaar looks at the islanders from the point of view of an explorer, just like his filmmaking hero Robert Flaherty once did. Their traditional lifestyle unfolds in front of his camera: customary songs and rituals, and heartfelt images of people’s daily lives.

Based on Jaan Anvelt's novel "Outlaws" which deals with the struggle of the Estonian Communist Workers' Movement and the life of revolutionaries in the Republic of Estonia in the 1920s. The film represents the maturation and decay of human soul in tense situations. The dark intersections and the dense, abandoned areas create a tumultuous tension field in which the characters find themselves. Their choices and decisions overwhelm them in one way or another. Where is the way out?

В приходском училище появляется новый ученик Арно Тали. Его сажают за одну парту с Йоосепом Тоотсом, редкостным озорником и непоседой. Его непрестанные проделки сделали Тоотса местной знаменитостью. Все попытки призвать хулигана к послушанию с помощью палки и трёпки ни к чему не приводят. Лишь учитель Лаур, предпочитающий в своей воспитательной работе силу убеждения, способен угомонить Тоотса. И то очень ненадолго...

There are three children growing at Tammaru farm - one boy, Margus; and two orphan girls, Mari and Tiina. Tiina is lively and full of energy. Margus holds her very dear to him. Margus's parents want him to marry Mari instead as she is more their kind. Hotblooded Tiina is completely different from them and her mother was once executed for being a witch. Mari thinks that Tiina has bewitched Margus and cannot stand this, so she starts to publicly blame her stepsister for being a werewolf.
