Adaptation
Hye-rim is a model prisoner serving out her sentence for murder. With two years left to go, she gets a special outing. Hye-rim gets on a train to Kang-reung to visit her mother's grave. At the place, she meets Min-gi, a young man running away after being involved in a crime organization. Min-gi's persistence melts the heart that was hardened in jail. Hye-rim and Min-gi fall in love.

They fall in love but Yeon-hi suffers from her financial difficulty losing her job as a tutor. She moves on to Jun-Il but they are parted again for poverty. She luckily works as a tutor again and Jung-bin, her student's brother, comes home from abroad and propose to her. He goes to America and sends her an invitation but she gives up and burn the invitation out of guilt about her past.
