A mother looks for magic in the lunar calendar. These events are commonplace for this seemingly normal family, revealing the fine line they live between fragility and absurdity. In the meantime, their country Bulgaria is shaken up by anti-gender and anti-equality protests with an undercurrent of violence. These women are united by a shared trauma, but now they are ready to confront their father’s troubling past.

Однажды к ним приходит соседский кот, которого они, конечно, принимают в семью. С появлением кота начинается переполох, отношения с соседями становятся еще сложнее, и Ирина принимает решение изменить свою жизнь.

Редкий вечер с семьей оборачивается для Джея ночным кошмаром, когда неизвестные похищают его из дома и запирают в подвале с тремя другими узниками. С определёнными интервалами в подвал спускается психопат в маске и по очереди пытает их. Ситуация кажется безвыходной, однако, постепенно они понимают, что причина происходящего может таиться в их прошлом.

A short retrospect into the life and work of the Manaki brothers. The film represents passion of having the first camera as well as the very beginnings of photography and movie making in the Balkans. The production employed original costumes and photography equipment from the era.
