Ordinary is a 2012 Malayalam comedy drama film directed by Sugeeth and written by Nishad K. Koya and Manu Prasad. The film stars Kunchacko Boban, Biju Menon, Asif Ali, Jishnu, Shritha Sivadas and Ann Augustine in the main roles. The cinematography is by Faisal Ali and the music is composed by Vidyasagar. The film follows the adventures of a K.S.R.T.C. bus that travels from Pathanamthitta to the village of Gavi. It received mixed critical reviews and turned out to be the first blockbuster film of 2012 in Malayalam cinema.

The threesome who lend reason to the title are Aravindan (Jayaram), Chandu (Mukesh) and Joy (Sreenivasan). They value friendship over everything else, even family, and for this reason, Chandu resists the advances of Aravindan's sister Uma (Divya Unni). When the trio take up a painter's job at a mansion, Aravindan falls in love with Padmini (Meena), who lives there and Padmini's jealous cousin makes him believe that his overtures are reciprocated. When the truth is revealed and Padmini rejects him outright, Chandu stands up for his friend and speaks ill of her. This makes her swear to separate the friends.

The movie is an adaptation of the 1960 French play of the same name and is considered to be a cult comedy classic in Malayalam. It was also one of the first commercial successes of the Mohanlal-Mukesh-Priyadarashan team. Shyam (Mohanlal) is a struggling journalist who gets an opportunity to be the caretaker of a flat in the city. Even while engaged to his childhood sweetheart Sreekutty (Menaka); he uses his charms and resourcefulness to make three air-hostesses (Lissie, Ashwini, Madhuri) fall in love with him. With the help of his maid (Sukumari) and friend (Raju) he carefully manages their schedule in the flat so that none of his girlfriends meet each other. Life is good for Shyam, till his former colleague and friend Anil (Mukesh) comes to visit him.

It is the story of a good natured but irresponsible young man, Vinod who comes to a hilly village live with his elder sister Vimala and brother in law, Shaji. Shaji is an engineer and Vinod wants to learn life from him, but end up creating problems for Shaji.

The only way Gopalakrishnan can escape from certain bankruptcy is to sell the property he owns in the city and use the proceeds to settle his debts. To do that, he has to evict his tenants from there first. Unfortunate for him, his tenant is the feisty Meera and her family, who absolutely refuses to vacate the house. The cinematography was by Jomon T. John and the music was composed by Ratheesh Vegha. It tells the story about the intense bonding of two friends, one quadriplegic and other a musician. The film released on 2 December 2011 to predominantly positive reviews
