Película que explora la relación entre unos padres y sus hijos que rechazan ocuparse de sus progenitores cuando se hacen mayores. Raj Malhotra y su esposa Pooja han trabajado muy duro para sacar adelante a sus cuatro hijos, dándoles todo el amor y las comodidades posibles. Todo su buen hacer y su dedicación no les dan los resultados esperados pues cuando el padre de la familia se retira ninguno de los hijos quiere acarrear con la responsabilidad de cuidarlo. Ray y Pooja se acostumbran a sobrevivir gracias a la amabilidad de unos extraños y aprenden a cuidarse el uno al otro sin esperar nada a cambio por parte de sus descendientes.
