WAZ (en realidad, w-delta-z) es el inicio de la ecuación Price, una fórmula que un asesino en serie ha decidido desmentir con un juego macabro que pone a sus víctimas entre la espada y la pared: o mueren con mucho sufrimiento o terminan con la vida de un ser querido. Los encargados de intentar resolver estos terribles crímenes serán una pareja de policías, Eddie Argo y Helen O'Mara. Eddie Argo (Stellan Skargsgard) es un veterano detective desgastado ya por los años de implicación en asuntos de brutalidad pandillera. Con la ayuda de dos agentes amigos suyos intenta localizar a la culpable, a pesar de que el jefe de policía Harold Lutz ha intentado encontrar alguna razón para despedir a los dos agentes. Axel y sus amigos descubren que los "atracos del alfabeto", que han tenido lugar en la zona, son obra del traficante de armas Maxwell Dent, que ha enviado a su prometida Karla Fry a matar a Bogomil porque éste le iba siguiendo los pasos.

Quinta y última entrega de la saga policiaca que nace con 'Harry, el sucio', protagonizada por el controvertido inspector de la policía de Los Ángeles, Harry Callahan. Una lista de ocho personas célebres circula por San Francisco y se están haciendo macabras apuestas, que consisten en adivinar quién de esas personas morirá primero. Uno de los nombres es el del famoso inspector Callahan, que investiga el caso.

Vinod/Vinu (played by Mohanlal) is mentally ill and is hospitalized in the institution run by Dr. Ravindran ( M G Soman). Story progresses as Vinod recovers with the help of Dr. Savithri, Dr. Ravindran's daughter (Karthika) and Dr. Unnikrishnan (Nedumudi Venu) who finds that Vinu fell ill after the accidental death of his fiancée Anitha (Lizy). Later Vinu and Savithri fall in love but Savithri is already engaged to be married to her cousin, Hari(Mukesh). Plot progresses as Dr. Ravindran opposes the romance between the doctor and the recovered patient.

Chanthupottu is a 2005 Malayalam film directed by Lal Jose, written by Benny P. Nayarambalam, and produced by Lal. The story is about a man named Radhakrishnan who was brought up like a girl by his grandmother.

Padmanabhan master and his wife are waiting for Unni, their only son who is missing for many years. 10 year old Unni got lost in the crowd during a temple festival where he was along with his neighbour Panikkar, popularly known as Poorappanikkar. Panikkar too did not return since he decided to return only after finding Unni. Ammu is Panikkar's daughter who also believes, like master and his wife, that her father will return one day with Unni. The master finds Unni and brings him back to the Village. The villagers realize that Unni is abnormal and is mentally challenged. He behaves like a small boy and creates all sorts of trouble for the villagers and his parents.

Kunjoonju, Deepu and Ashtamurthy are studying hotel management at Pondichery. Kunjoonju is a 'Kanjirappally Achayan' who is always after girls. But his 'thrill' for a girl will end the moment he finds that she is interested in him. Abbas ,the trio's friend, arranges the top floor of a house for them to stay. The house is owned by Sophy and she she stays there with her two daughters Kamala and Padma. All three guys fall for Kamala, but Kunjunju and Deepu joins together and push Ashtamurthy out of the race by making him the 'Rakhi Brother' of Kamala. Kamala knows that Kunjunju is a flirt and so she tries to keep away from him. Deepu never tells about his love to Kamala or to Kunjunju, but Ashtamurthy knows about it. Kunjunju and Deepu falls apart after a fight and Ashtamurthy brings them together. The story takes a turn, when Sophy dies and the sisters are left alone

The film starts by displaying an antic of Keshavan (Thilakan) who is an inmate of the Kakkanad Mental Hospital. Two other inmates are Benny (Mukesh) and Krishnankutty (Jagathy Sreekumar), along with the female inmate Philomena. By profession Benny is an artist, Krishnankutty is a mechanic and Keshavan had retired from military service. The late Hakeem Rawther too plays as an inmate in a cameo role. The trio chance to come across a newspaper report that Amitabh Bachchan is visiting Ernakulam City for film shooting, near the place they stay. They are soon joined by Venu (Siddique), as the brother of Balan (N.N.Balakrishnan) who takes him to the mental hospital. Venu is a good singer but has a compulsive obsession to singing. Driven by a desire to see Amitabh Bachchan the four of them manage to escape from the mental hospital that night by ripping off the cell warden Ameen (Mala Aravindan). They reach Ernakulam city in a bus, and hilarity starts

Madhavankutty is the Valliettan (Big Brother) of the Arackal family. The long lasting rivalry between the Arackal Madhavanunni and Patteri Sivaraman forms the main thread of the story. Madhavanunni along with his four brothers he rules the village. But Sivaraman with the help of Bava develops their plan to trap Madhavanunni.

The film deals with a murder of a young woman on a train to Madras. Almost half of the film is shot inside the train.

Kannan and Dasappan are two rowdies in their village. Shathrugnan. a newcomer, is in love with Dasappan' s sister, Devootty, but she is not interested in him. KD & Company keeps as hostage a music troupe who comes to their village to perform. The main singer of that troupe, Sangeetha, gets expelled from her home because of this and Kannan and Dasappan give her refuge, at the insistence of Devootty. Meenakshi and Kannan are in love. But due to some misunderstanding, Dasappan falls in love with Meenakshi and Sangeetha falls in love with Kannan. Shathru takes the responsibility of sorting it out and linking Dasappan with Sangeetha. In the chaos and confusions that follows, he manages to be victorious and wins his lady love Devootty too.
