Sinopsis
The documentary is a portrait of an artist and a portrait of a deadly disease. Lene Marie Fossen was a gifted photographer who suffered from severe anorexia. Self Portrait is a film about the power of art and survival, but it also raises important questions about what treatment one who suffers from severe anorexia needs.

Para conseguir mandar apoyo a sus tropas en la Campaña de Birmania de 1942, Japón decidió construir unas vías que cruzaran desde Tailandia hasta el lugar donde se hallaban sus aliados, cruzando Bangkok y Rangún. Para llevar a cabo la obra de tal magnitud se dispuso de trabajadores asiáticos y presos enemigos británicos, australianos, holandeses y estadounidenses, entre otros.
