Esta versión se va a llamar con el nombre de japonés de “Yurusarezaru Mono” o el mismo “Unforgiven“. El protagonista será Ken Watanabe al que ya le hemos visto acompañando a Tom Cruise en el año 2003 con “El último samurai“, y ha trabajado con el propio Clint Eastwood en el año 2006 con “Cartas desde Iwo Jima“. Esta vez volverá a ser un samurái, aunque uno más violento todavía, que vive jubilado en la isla norteña japonesa de Hokkaido con su esposa, pero será sacado de la jubilación para un último trabajo. Koichi Sato (“Ace Attorney“, 2012) hará el papel correspondiente a Gene Hackman, y Akira Emoto (“The Floating Castle“, 2012), el de Morgan Freeman.

The Isokaze, an Aegis-class escort vessel, sets sail on a routine training exercise, playing host to a platoon from the Fleet Training Group.
