Abraham Bursztein es un sastre de origen judío que en su avanzada edad decide ir en busca de un viejo amigo que le salvó la vida durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Después de siete décadas sin verse, este modisto viaja desde Buenos Aires hasta Polonia solo para encontrarse con él.

Un universo de recuerdos narrados por Pepe se abrirá ante Ana, envolviéndola en una aventura que hará cambiar su personalidad. En el desenlace, Ana descifrará la pintura, sacando a la luz un oscuro secreto que causará la muerte de Pepe, con el que habría llegado a establecer una fogosa relación.
