1910年、ロンドン。気難しい銀行家バンクスは、娘ジェーンと息子マイケルの教育のため、新しい家庭教師を探す。わんぱく盛りの子どもたちのせいで、家庭教師が居着かないのだ。そんなある朝、メリー・ポピンズと名乗る家庭教師の女性が傘を差して風に乗ってやって来る。優しくて楽しく、おまけに不思議な力を持ったメリーに子どもたちはたちまち夢中になる。だが、子どもを厳しくしつけたいバンクスはメリーが気に入らなかった。
広告会社社長のロジャー・ソーンヒルは多忙で、今も秘書をタクシーに乗せて車内でスケジュールの確認中である。プラザ・ホテルで一人降りたソーンヒルは友人たちの待つラウンジへ向う。酒を飲む前に電報を打つ用事を思い出したソーンヒルはボーイに向って手を挙げるが、その手と”お客様のジョージ・カプラン様”の呼び出しの声が重なった。その様子を見ていた二人組は席を立ったソーンヒルに銃を突きつけ、人知れず車に乗せる。それはNYからラシュモア山までの苦難の道のりの始まりであった。

イギリス諜報部MI6はロシア当局と合同で、ロシア国境における武器取引マーケットの調査を行っていた。侵入したボンドの撮影した映像から、大量の武器と日本人テロリストの磯倉聡やアメリカ人のテロリストのヘンリー・グプタをはじめとする危険人物が集まっていることを確認したMI6は、ロシア側の合意によりイギリス海軍艦艇からの巡航ミサイル攻撃を行う。ところが、市場の商品の中に核魚雷がある事が判明、ミサイルは母艦から距離が離れすぎていた為自爆電波が届かず、ボンドには退避命令が出される。だが、ボンドは命令を無視して核魚雷を搭載した戦闘機諸共確保して飛び去り、チェルノブイリ以上の核汚染は阻止された。しかし、この代償に会場にいた危険人物の1人、ヘンリー・グプタは逃走してしまう。

The movie's plot is based on the true story of a group of young computer hackers from Hannover, Germany. In the late 1980s the orphaned Karl Koch invests his heritage in a flat and a home computer. At first he dials up to bulletin boards to discuss conspiracy theories inspired by his favorite novel, R.A. Wilson's "Illuminatus", but soon he and his friend David start breaking into government and military computers. Pepe, one of Karl's rather criminal acquaintances senses that there is money in computer cracking - he travels to east Berlin and tries to contact the KGB.

And finally, the gang goes to Paris to see Daphne's cousin become a model, but only to discover she's been abducted by a giant gargoyle in Ready To Scare.
