The Escape (2009)

「特捜部Q」――過去の未解決事件を専門に扱うコペンハーゲン警察の新部署である。「Q」が今回挑むのは、80年代に起こったナイトクラブのマダムの失踪事件。調査によるとほぼ同時に5人もの行方不明者が出ているという。カール警部補は大事件の匂いを嗅ぎつけ捜査に着手。やがて、壮絶な過去を持つひとりの老女と新進政党の関係者が捜査線上に浮かび上がってくるのだが……。

ある捜査で、自らの判断ミスから部下1名が殉職、別の1名は下半身不随となり、また彼自身も重傷を負うという苦い経験を味わった、殺人課の刑事カール。その後彼は、新しく設置された部署「特捜部Q」へと転属されるが、その主たる仕事は未解決事件の残務整理だった。そんな中、彼は、5年前、女性議員のミレーデが船から失踪し、結局自殺として片づけられていた不審な事件に興味を抱き、助手のアサドとともに再調査を始める。

コペンハーゲン警察の特別部署「特捜部Q」で未解決事件の残務処理に当たるはみだし者の刑事カールと相棒のアサド、そして、そこへ新たに配属された女性秘書のローセ。彼らは、20年前、名門寄宿舎学校の近くで起きた、とある惨殺事件を再調査することに。事件は、容疑者の逮捕で一件落着とされていたものの、男はその後早々に釈放され、また、事件の通報者たる少女が失踪して今なお消息不明など、不審な点が数多く残されていた。

とある海辺でボトルの中に入った手紙が発見され、コペンハーゲン警察の特別部署「特捜部Q」で未解決事件を取り扱う、はみだし者の刑事カールと相棒のアサド、そして女性秘書のローセが調査に乗り出すことに。手紙はどうやら7〜8年前に書かれたものでインクがにじんでほとんど判読不能だったが、差出人の頭文字Pを手掛かりに調査を進めるうち、エホバの証人の信者たちの子どもを狙った謎の連続誘拐事件が次第に浮上する。

Smilla Jaspersen, half Danish, half Greenlander, attempts to understand the death of a small boy who falls from the roof of her apartment building. Suspecting wrongdoing, Smilla uncovers a trail of clues leading towards a secretive corporation that has made several mysterious expeditions to Greenland. Scenes from the film were shot in Copenhagen and western Greenland. The film was entered into the 47th Berlin International Film Festival, where director Bille August was nominated for the Golden Bear.

Detectives Jonas and Erik are called to the midnight sun country of northern Norway to investigate a recent homicide, but their plan to arrest the killer goes awry, and Jonas mistakenly shoots Erik. The suspect escapes, and a frightened Jonas pins Erik's death on the fugitive. Adapted from a novel by Norway's justice minister Anne Holt. Lesbian policewoman Hanne Wilhelmsen (Kjersti Elvik), who has a live-in lover, tools about Oslo on her Harley-Davidson. After a number of women vanish, police find blood but no bodies, and Wilhelmsen begins a search for the suspected serial killer.

Regina Linnanheimo plays Eeva, a happy and spirited lady who is being courted by two gentlemen. Eventually she marries the other and leads a content family life - until through unlikely events she ends up in a prison, suffering from amnesia.
