ジェイとサイレントボブは、彼らに基づいたスーパーヒーローコミックであるブラントマンとクロニックの映画が撮影されていることを知ると、友人のバンクーエドワーズが彼らを裏切っており、そのための画像の権利を取得できないことを知ります。 インターネット上でドルを見ずに売り切れたと非難される様子を見た後、彼らはハリウッドに旅行して映画を妨害することに決めました。
コミックオタクでスーパーヒーローにあこがれる高校生デイヴは、ある日、インターネットで買ったスーツとマスクで、ヒーローとして街で活動を始める。何の能力も持たない彼はあっさり犯罪者にやられるも、捨て身の活動がネット上に動画で流され、“キック・アス”の名で一躍有名になってしまう。
