Tank Force! (1958)

さえない人生を送るステファン（ガエル・ガルシア・ベルナル）は父の死をきっかけに、住み慣れたメキシコから母のいるパリへ帰郷する。彼はアパートの隣に引っ越してきたステファニー（シャルロット・ゲンズブール）に恋をするが、なかなか思いを伝えることができず、次第に彼女との関係が成就した夢の世界に逃避するようになる。

1929年、アメリカ東部の町。アイリッシュのレオ（フィニー）とイタリアンのキャスパー（ポリト）、二つの勢力が暗黒街でシノギを削っていた。レオとその片腕で博打好きのトム（バーン）は厚い友情で結ばれていた。同じくレオの部下バーニー（タートゥーロ）の姉、高級クラブで働くヴァーナ（ハーデン）はレオの情婦だったが、トムにも魅かれ一夜を共にする。やがてその事実がばれ、トムはレオと袂を分かつ。博打の借金に追われるトムはキャスパーの下で働くことになるが、受けた命令はバーニーを殺せ、というものだった……。

第２次大戦末期のイタリア。空襲で破壊された修道院でカナダ人看護師ハナは、ある患者の世話をしている。重い火傷で英語を話すが自分の名は思い出せない。英陸軍工作兵のキップ、カナダ軍諜報部隊のデヴィッド・カラヴァッジョと共に修道院で一緒になった４人。カラヴァッジョは患者に問いかけ、患者は徐々に記憶を取り戻す。

ナチスのワルシャワ侵攻を目の当たりにし、死の収容所送りを奇跡的に逃れたシュピルマンは、ゲットーの廃墟に身を隠すことで第二次世界大戦を生き延びる。

ある日突然、密室に閉じこめられた6人の男女。それは正方形の巨大な立方体（CUBE)だった。いったい何のために作られたものなのか、なぜ自分たちが閉じこめられたのかは誰も知らない。脱出方法は6つあるハッチのいずれかを選び、同じ立方体でつながっている隣に移動しながら出口を探す以外ないが、いくつかの部屋には殺人トラップが仕掛けられていた。そんな中、やがて彼らは安全な部屋を示す“暗号”に気づく。

タイとビルマの国境近くにある日本軍の捕虜収容所では捕虜を使って国境に流れるクワイ河に橋を架ける準備が進められていた。英軍大佐はジュネーヴ協定に反するとして所長と対立し、所長は恩赦を条件にしたことで大佐はこれを承諾し建設工事が始まった。だが同時に、収容所から脱走した米海軍少佐の手引きによって連合軍による架橋爆破作戦も開始されようとしていた。

1993年、国際世論におされた米軍は民族紛争の続くソマリアへ派兵。内戦を終結させようと最大勢力ババルギディル族を率いて和平に反対するアイディード将軍の副官２名を捕らえるため、約100名の特殊部隊を首都モガディシュへ強襲させた。当初、作戦は１時間足らずで終了するはずだったが、作戦の開始直後にアイディード将軍派の民兵により２機のヘリコプターがロケットランチャーで撃墜されてしまう。 敵地の中心へ仲間たちの救出に向かう兵士らは泥沼の市街戦に突入していく。

Washington, D.C. psychologist Carol Bennell and her colleague Dr. Ben Driscoll are the only two people on Earth who are aware of an epidemic running rampant through the city. They discover an alien virus aboard a crashed space shuttle that transforms anyone who comes into contact with it into unfeeling drones while they sleep. Carol realizes her son holds the key to stopping the spread of the plague and she races to find him before it is too late.

During the Civil War, Confederate soldiers escape from a Union prison and head for the Mexican border. Along the way, they kill a Union courier bearing the news that the war is over. Keeping the message a secret, the captain has his men go on and they soon find themselves in a battle with the Union search party who also is unaware of the war's end.

WWII is entering its last phase: Germany is in ruins, but does not yield. The US army lacks crucial knowledge about the German units operating on the opposite side of the Rhine, and decides to send two German prisoners to gather information. The scheme is risky: the Gestapo retains a terribly efficient network to identify and capture spies and deserters. Moreover, it is not clear that "Tiger", who does not mind any dirty work as long as the price is right, and war-weary "Happy", who might be easily betrayed by his feelings, are dependable agents. After Tiger and another American agent are successfully infiltrated, Happy is parachuted in Bavaria. His duty: find out the whereabouts of a powerful German armored unit moving towards the western front.

A stranger enters into and forever alters the life of a couple. He claims to be pursued by certain authorities who intend to prevent him from disclosing a secret that only he holds, whence the title. Is he lying, or insane - or is he telling the truth? Who, if anyone, is after him? And what *is* - the secret?
