Lorelei Lee is a beautiful showgirl engaged to be married to the wealthy Gus Esmond, much to the disapproval of Gus' rich father, Esmond Sr., who thinks that Lorelei is just after his money. Adding to the confusion are Pivert's dentist-wife, who thinks her husband is leaving her for another woman, their daughter, who's about to get married, and a Parisian neighborhood filled with people eager to celebrate the return of Rabbi Jacob.

休暇を過ごす為、アッシュは恋人リンダと共に森深くたたずむ別荘にやって来る。 退屈しのぎに別荘の地下室に入りそこで見つけた古いテープレコーダーを再生すると、そこからは かつて別荘の住人だった学者の古文書解読の経緯を伝える音声が流れてくる。 古文書の呪文の一節を朗読するその音声は唱えてはならない古代の死霊を呼び出す禁句であった。 突如リンダの様相は豹変しアッシュに襲い掛かってくる。防ごうと必死になりついにはリンダを殺して しまう。リンダを埋葬している最中アッシュ自身に死霊が憑依するが夜が明けたため死霊はアッシュから はなれてしまう。その隙に別荘から脱出を図るが唯一の帰り道にかかる橋が壊れていたためやむなく 別荘に戻ることになる。死霊との戦いに供えているアッシュの別荘に現れたのはテープの声の主の娘 だった。死霊との戦いで血まみれになったアッシュを殺人犯と勘違いした娘は仲間と共にアッシュを 袋叩きにし拘束するがその時、またしても死霊が森の奥からアッシュ達を襲うべく別荘を囲み始めるのだった。

一見ゴージャスなカップルだが、実は敵対する国際的組織の殺し屋同士。といえば殺伐とした話のようだが、愛し合う者同士だからこそ楽しい、究極の夫婦ゲンカといえそうなのが本作。「ボーン・アイデンティティー」「フェア・ゲーム」のD・リーマン監督は速いテンポでアクションを畳みかけながら、ブラピとジョリーという2大美男美女スターの顔合わせをコミカルかつオシャレに盛り上げている。

1965年、サイゴンにやって来た米軍放送の人気DJを通して間接的にベトナム戦争を描いた人間ドラマ。実在のモデル、エイドリアン・クロナウアーに扮したR・ウィリアムスのマシンガン・トークによる破天荒なDJぶりが痛快。ベトナム戦争ものとしては番外編に位置するが、戦場からの視点ではない所が興味深い。

旅の末、フィオナの呪いを解き、無事に結婚したシュレックとフィオナ。幸せな日々を送っていたが、ある日フィオナの両親から、結婚の祝いを行うので来る様にとの手紙が届く。嫌われるに決まっていると最初は渋っていたシュレックだが、同じく結婚したドラゴンと近頃気まずいというドンキーと共に仕方なくフィオナの故郷「遙か彼方の王国」に旅立ち、到着するもシュレックの予想通り、シュレックや怪物姿のフィオナを見た両親はびっくりし、怪物という偏見と考えが合わないことでシュレックと国王は喧嘩をしてしまう。

シュレックとフィオナは、沼のほとりの小屋には戻らず、遠い遠い王国で蛙の姿に戻り、病に伏せるハロルド国王の代理として騎士叙任や新造船の進水式、パーティへの出席に明け暮れる。面倒で慣れない行事に苦戦し、うんざりしていたシュレックだったが、フィオナの父であるハロルド国王の症状が悪化し、逝去してしまう。王位は自分に相応しくないと思ったシュレックは、ハロルド国王が言い残したもう一人の王位継承者、フィオナの従兄弟のアーサーを連れてくるべく、ドンキーとドラゴンの子供達や妊娠したフィオナに見送られ、ドンキーや長靴をはいた猫と旅に出る。

食中毒の発生したジェット機内のパニックをパロディ満載で描いたスラップスティック・コメディ。「JAWS／ジョーズ」に始まり「エアポート'75」「大陸横断超特急」など数々の作品がネタにされている。「ケンタッキー・フライド・ムービー」で注目を集め、近年では「裸の銃を持つ男」などでコメディ界に君臨し続けるトリオ“ZAZ”が手掛ける。
