『エスカフローネ』（Escaflowne）。2000年6月24日公開。サンライズと韓国企業との初の正式製作&出資で作られた日韓米合作アニメーション映画。TVシリーズが韓国で高視聴率を取り韓国側からのオファーで映画化が実現した。製作総予算は3億円。設定、ストーリーを大幅に変更し声優も一部入れ替えられた完全な新作映画として製作された。日本では一般公開ではなくシネマコンプレックス企業と組む変則的な公開だったため興行収益が振るわなかったが、その後本格的なアニメーション映画として各国で公開された。 ストーリー
